‘Music Weeks’ has again a very text heavy article, however there use of imaging is simple yet effective. They have three photographs which are all very square and neat, which follows suit with magazine. However they also have a photo on the first page of Lilly Allen, and the text flows around her outline, this is very effective. NME is a massive contrast of ‘Music Week’, it is very picture heavy. In terms of text, there isn’t much, and the emphasis is on the pictures. This is because of the followers of NME, it is an indie magazine, and what they realised is that they could be seen as a way of keeping the readers up to date with fashion. Very differently to both is ‘Kerrang’. It is picture heavy however there is also a fair amount of text. It is has been created to resemble a photo board with the text stamped on to show emphasis. The photos give the reader a sense of his personality.
